What you get

Duplicate Detection

Identifies exact and near-duplicate rows across your dataset, highlighting which entries overlap and suggesting which to keep.

Missing Value Analysis

Finds gaps, nulls and empty cells column by column, showing exactly which records need attention before analysis.

Formatting Inconsistencies

Flags mixed date formats, inconsistent currency symbols, varying capitalisation, and other formatting issues that break analysis.

Anomaly & Outlier Detection

Surfaces values that fall outside expected ranges — zero-revenue entries, impossible dates, or outlier quantities.

Readiness Score & Fix Plan

Get a single quality score out of 100 plus a prioritised step-by-step plan to fix every issue found in your dataset.

Column-by-Column Breakdown

See quality scores, data types, unique values, and issue counts for every column — know exactly where your data is strong and weak.

Common questions

What types of data issues can you detect?
Our checker identifies duplicates (exact and near-matches), missing values and nulls, formatting inconsistencies (mixed date formats, currency symbols, capitalisation), data type mismatches, outlier values outside expected ranges, and column-level quality issues. You receive a detailed breakdown of each problem category with specific row references.
What file formats are supported?
We accept CSV files, Excel files (.xlsx and .xls), and public Google Sheets links. Your data should have at least a few columns to audit. There is no strict minimum row count, but larger datasets (500+ rows) produce more statistically meaningful quality scores.
What does the data readiness score mean?
The readiness score is a 0–100 number reflecting overall data quality. It weighs duplicates, missing values, formatting consistency, and outlier frequency. A score above 90 means your data is analysis-ready. Below 70, you will want to address the flagged issues before drawing conclusions. Your report includes a prioritised fix plan to improve the score.
What happens to my uploaded file?
Your file is encrypted and stored temporarily in Cloudflare R2. Once your quality report is generated and delivered, the raw file is automatically deleted within 24 hours. The generated report is kept for 30 days so you can re-download it if needed.
Does anyone at Tenor Analytics read my data?
No. The entire analysis pipeline is automated. No human at Tenor Analytics reads, reviews, or accesses your uploaded data. Your file goes into our system, Python processes it automatically, the report is generated, and the file is deleted. Only aggregated statistical figures are used — never your raw data.
Can I get a refund if I am not happy with my report?
If the report fails to generate correctly due to a technical error on our end, we will refund you in full or regenerate the report at no charge. If the report generates correctly but does not meet your expectations due to the quality of the uploaded data, we will work with you to resolve the issue. Contact us at contact@tenoranalytics.com.
